In 2019, we sourced 35 C1 Leney strain carp from Antony Hurst in the UK. These remarkable fish trace their lineage back to unique brood stock from Redmire Pool, showcasing a heritage of exceptional quality. Not only do we continue to breed this specific strain, but we also continue to breed from our own proven brood stock at Fensmere (Royals), renowned for producing colossal carp exceeding 70lb.

Our third unique strain emerges from a strategic crossing of Leney and Fensmere strains, combining the rapid growth rates of French fish with the distinctive scale patterns associated with the Leney strain. The results have been outstanding with both size, growth rates and aesthetics.
